Qualifications
- Driver’s License (Required)
- Have or be willing to acquire ICC Soils, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Structural Steel, ICC Reinforced Masonry, ICC Fireproofing, ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician-Grade 1, AWS, CWI, NDT, testing and Nuclear Gauge certifications in a timely fashion
- Have or be willing to acquire Caltrans Certifications (both field and lab), including CT 125, 231, 375, and 500 series
- High school diploma or GED
- Communication: Active Listening, Communicativeness, Informal Communication, Written Communication
- Interpersonal: Assertiveness, Conflict Management and Diplomacy
- Personal: Composure, High Standards and Integrity

Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall administrative operation of the lab- including equipment inventory, purchase lab equipment and lab/field supplies, scheduling of lab staff, coordinating between field staff and the lab.
- Manage subcontracting- external labs for testing, calibration agencies for equipment calibration.
- Responsible for preparing lab report- lab sheets to report.
- Assign technicians for collecting field sample
- Reporting weekly lab status/test progress
- Prepare lab weekly Summary communications with the clients.
- Documenting/updating- Quality Manual documents- technicians’ profiles/ training and evaluation records, CARs, customer complaints, PSP records, equipment calibration record
